Perinatal Mental Health
At Vibrant Therapy, I believe that every parent deserves to feel empowered, connected, and strong as they navigate the major life transition of becoming a parent. With compassion and expertise, I work closely with my clients to address the unique emotional and psychological challenges that can arise during infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. My goal is to help clients overcome these challenges and achieve their parenting goals. I do this by providing a supportive and nurturing environment where clients can explore their feelings, learn new coping skills, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their parenting journey.

Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP is a therapeutic approach commonly used to treat individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety disorders. ERP is a type of cognitive-behavior therapy that focuses on helping patients confront their fears and anxieties in a controlled and systematic manner. The core principle of ERP involves two key components:
1. Exposure: This element consistent of gradually and repeatedly exposing individuals to distressing thoughts, situations, or triggers that provoke their anxiety. This process is conducted in a safe and supportive environment and follows a hierarchy that begins with less anxiety-provoking situations and progressively moves to more challenging scenarios. The goal is to help individuals learn that they can tolerate anxiety without resorting to compulsive behaviors.
2. Response Prevention: This component emphasizes the importance of refraining from engaging in compulsive behaviors or rituals that provide temporary relief from anxiety. Encouraging clients to resist these responses during exposure tasks, helps break the cycle of anxiety and compulsive behavior.

EMDR & Trauma
I am trained in EMDR through EMDRIA. I am honored to help individuals overcome the lingering shadows of their past, and find liberation from the painful memories that have haunted them for far too long. Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful therapy that has revolutionized the treatment of trauma, allowing individuals to confront and reprocess their experiences in unique and transformative ways. Through this innovative approach, I guide clients in addressing and processing the stored memories and emotions associated with traumatic events, slowly releasing the grip of distress and anxiety. With EMDR, we work together to rewire the brain’s response to these memories, allowing individuals to develop a sense of safety, closure, and peace. My goal is to help you break free from the shackles of your past, and emerge with a renewed sense of purpose, confidence, and hope for your future.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Through Vibrant therapy, I am committed to empowering individuals to overcome the patterns of negative thinking and behaving that hold them back from living their best lives. Through CBT, we work together to identify and challenge distorted or unhelpful thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and constructive ways of thinking. By examining the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, we develop a deeper understanding of how our perceptions shape our experiences and relationships CBT, I help guide clients into developing healthy coping skills, problem-solving strategies, grounding skills, and self-compassion techniques to help them navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and resilience.

Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) is an evidence-based, cognitive-first treatment for OCD that focuses on breaking the "inferential confusion" (faulty reasoning) that creates obsessions. Unlike ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), which tackles anxiety and behaviors, I-CBT helps individuals identify how their imagination overrides their senses to create imaginary, "what-if" scenarios.

Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)
What Is Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR)?
Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) is a trauma-focused therapy designed to help people process and heal from overwhelming or deeply distressing experiences. Developed by psychiatrist and trauma researcher Frank Corrigan, DBR works by targeting the brain’s automatic survival responses that occur during moments of shock, fear, attachment injury, or trauma.
Unlike approaches that focus mainly on thoughts or memories, DBR gently helps clients become aware of the body’s earliest instinctive reactions to threat—before emotions like panic, shame, anger, or dissociation fully emerge. By slowing down and safely processing these responses with a trained therapist, the nervous system can begin to release patterns that may have remained “stuck” for years.
DBR is often used to support individuals experiencing:
Complex trauma or childhood trauma
PTSD and chronic stress
Attachment wounds and relational trauma
Anxiety, hypervigilance, or emotional overwhelm
Dissociation or feeling emotionally disconnected
Grief, shame, or unresolved emotional pain
Many people describe DBR as a deeply gentle and body-aware approach. Sessions typically move slowly, with a strong emphasis on safety, regulation, and allowing the brain and body to process experiences at a pace that feels manageable.
How DBR Is Different
DBR focuses on the brainstem’s orienting response—the automatic reaction that occurs when the brain detects something significant or threatening. By working with these very early nervous system responses, DBR aims to address trauma at its root rather than only managing symptoms.
The therapy does not require clients to relive traumatic events in detail. Instead, the process emphasizes mindful awareness, nervous system regulation, and compassionate therapeutic support.
A Gentle, Neuroscience-Informed Approach
DBR integrates neuroscience, attachment theory, and trauma therapy principles to help clients build greater emotional stability, connection, and resilience. It can be especially helpful for individuals who have found other trauma therapies too activating or overwhelming.
Deep Brain Reorienting should always be provided by a trained mental health professional and may be used alongside other therapeutic approaches depending on a client’s needs.

I recommend that you call the phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask them if you have out of network coverage and if so, what it is, they will then be able to tell you how much you will be reimbursed if at all.
What Happens When You Reach Out:
First, we can schedule a free 15-minute consultation via email or phone. During this time, we figure out if we are a good fit or not. I will ask questions about what brings you to therapy and what you are looking for in a therapist.
If we decide we are a good fit, we will look at scheduling your first session. This is called an Intake Appointment. I will send you documents over from Simple Practice ahead of time. Please complete the paperwork 24 hours in advance as it provides important information regarding your mental health background and insurance.
During our first session, we will meet so we can learn more about what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your unique treatment plan, the forms you completed, and scheduling moving forward. This is also a great chance to ask me questions regarding the paperwork you filled out and anything else on your mind!
